Like a full blown Handheld game

I normally dont buy iOS games anymore, i usually have more fun with the full blown games of the 3DS or the Vita. But Heroki is really just beautiful and controls like a dream. Buy it, you wont regret it

:D

Super fun and super cute! Love the design and the colorfull levels:) Although it does gave a high difficulty level, but thats probably just at the first tries.

Great game! Sega does it again.

A wonderfully crafted game. You feel the love that was put into every pixel. Great gameplay (dont let the cute looks fool you, its pretty hard), lots of secrets, lovable characters, nice music and all in all great value! Thanks again Sega for creating something fun and unique :)

Dont buy

Cant get past opening credits...crashes every time... Refund please!!!

Crashes at start...

Looked like fun game... Spend evening changing setting, updating software, but no difference. Crashes during loading. Have two iPad mini... Kids are disappointed.. Please fix the game or refund.

Biggest regret

thought it was kind of like crash bandicoot type but turns out hard to control and crashes most of the time! update or refund!!!

Beautiful game!

I didnt have any crashes or bugs like the other reviewers. This game is cute and well polished. The controls are good for me. I play on a IPhone 5s.

Amazingly Fun & Beautiful

This feels like a rebirth of Rolando.

Well that was fast!

Finally able to play, and its amazing! Well worth the premium price!

Really?

9 dollars this game. Ridiculously ANNOYING control, they give you 3 choices and each one is even more annoying. You cant ever get that last triangle thing (4/5) at Level 1, Level "1" Seriously? You get so sick of this game at the first level already and the control ticks you off even more, had so much fun paying for $9 for this app

Amazing

Superb game, in every way.

On sale!!!

Had to buy it.

So Awesome!

So Awesome! Also the end is hard

I want my money back!

This game app will not even open for me! It crashes as soon as it starts. Ive tried accessing app support, and again it crashes on me before I can speak with anyone! So frustrating!!

Pretty good but

I have played about through he first1.5 worlds. I did quite like the gameplay & how it had some puzzle elements & you need to explore to find all the objects on each level. But when you get the levels where you have to carefully nudge your way past the sea urchins, I found that gameplay getting quite tedious to have to move carefully and slowly. I don’t know if I will go back to it...

An Outstanding Delight

Heroki is one gaming app that has raised the bar for quality among its peers. I have not given 5 stars to any app I have downloaded so far and I have downloaded a lot! Picomy and Sega, well done; you have earned my only 5 star rating with this wonderful game. Heroki is a cute, clever, original action adventure game that everyone who can should download. Its graphics are visually delightful, attention to detail being a particularly notable achievement, its gameplay is original and fun, its soundtrack is unique and catchy, its characters are cute and memorable, and while its story is nothing we havent seen before it doesnt take away from the joy of playing this game. First we cover Herokis greatest feat. The graphics in this game are gorgeous. While they are not revolutionary, the amount of attention paid to nearly every detail will take your breath away. Not only have the developers created an incredibly colorful world to explore in Heroki, but they took painstaking effort to make every aspect of this world jump out at you in its vibrancy and given players a ton of variety to experience. Each world and level is different in its makeup and challenges offering an unexpected diversity. Every level is crafted beautifully with waterfalls, trees, mountains, lakes, cactuses, sandfalls, and crystals. Everything you see in this game is vivid with aesthetically pleasing detail. It is a daunting task to take the side-scrolling style and make it into something new and different and rarely, if at all, seen on the app platform. Heroki does this wonderfully. It takes the fun, exploration style of games like The New Super Mario Bros, removes the reliance of land movement, and throws in fun puzzles and complex maps loaded with baddies. The gameplay emphasis is primarily on exploration to locate multiple adventure items. But puzzle solving and combat skills gained as the game progresses break up the exploration satisfyingly. Level maps are complicated, forcing the player to take their time to find each levels secrets. Baddies are cleverly designed and diverse and get more tricky to outwit and defeat as the player conquers more lands. The use of power-ups like shields and health feel less tacked on than in other games. These items often prove useful to have at your behest in the more dangerous levels. None of the mechanics feel especially borrowed from other gameplay formulas and this makes it a novel experience. This gamer has listened to many soundtracks over the years and I take particular note on how a games musical soundtrack adds to or takes away from the experience. Herokis soundtrack is not spectacular and not original enough to stand out significantly. But it is unique in its own way. The tunes in each level are fun and catchy. And they do manage to immerse the player in Herokis world by being well matched to their respective levels. Every song and sound just feel well suited. Every character design from Heroki himself down to the last level baddie is beautifully crafted. Like the attention to detail put into the games level design and background, character design was not overlooked either. Heroki is cute and expressive, supporting characters are dynamic and interesting, and every baddie gets more clever and fun the more you encounter. Not a character nor baddie are wasted in this game. Herokis story is one weve seen in multiple manifestations throughout the years and therefor it doesnt lend much originality to the game as a whole. But with the glorious execution of all other areas of this game, its hard to give the developers any flack for it. Heroki has so much in balance; it creates an amazing gaming experience. And Picomy and Sega did one thing right that few other top selling buy-to-play apps have done; they set this awesome game up for a much desired sequel. Not only is what they created an absolute gem of a game, but they send us off with the prospect of more to come. I hope Heroki 2 is already in development and I cant wait to play it! Thank you, Picomy & Sega!

must hold ipad to play

the developers intend for you to hold your ipad to play this game. you can not progress through the game without tilting the device from side to side. total bust if you play while resting you ipad on a table or mount. 1star=control scheme has poor accessibility.

Really fun

I like how it is so much fun. The graphics are amazing. I like how colorful and challenging it is. This is such a great game and it was worth to buy.

Good but Mfi controller dropping after ios10 update

Was loving this game and would give it a 5 out of 5, but after the ios10 update my Mfi controller keeps losing connection while playing this game. Heroki gets stuck flying up with no way to control him. Have tested two controllers on iPad pro with same result. Does not occur when playing other games and resetting network connection nor forgetting and reconnecting devices do not solve issue. Please fix
